Dr. Wang received extensive training in general dentistry and earned a Master of Science degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Taipei Veterans General Hospital in her native Taiwan. She completed a residency in Periodontology at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine, where she also earned another Master of Science degree. Dr. Wang served as a full-time faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine until 2022. She has published peer-reviewed articles on basic science and clinical research and has served as a journal reviewer. Dr. Wang specializes in periodontal surgeries, such as pocket reduction, laser periodontal treatment (LANAP certified), esthetic and functional crown lengthening, regenerative procedures, soft tissue grafting, and dental implant therapies. Dr. Wang is also a board-certified periodontist and is still affiliated with Penn as an Assistant Professor of Periodontics.
